Security
Banca Progetto guarantees you a secure home banking service, thanks in part to its instruments
Data transmission protection
Data transmission with our Home Banking is protected through 128-bit SSL (AES 256-bit compatible) encryption, the standard protocol for establishing a secure communication channel to prevent the interception of confidential information traveling over the Internet.
To ensure that protection is enabled, you should check that the "closed padlock" icon is always present at the top of the Microsoft Edge/Chrome/Firefox browser window (address bar), which is a guarantee of the authenticity of the site and the protection of transmitted information.

Access codes
The service uses a combined system of access codes (User Code and password) chosen at the "first login stage" and, to increase the level of security, at the account "opening stage" you are asked for a security PIN Code, set by you, to be used to access the service and confirm payment services.
In order to create and manage your password properly and securely and avoid access by unauthorized persons, here are some simple rules:choose a password that has a minimum length of 10 characters and a maximum of 64 characters; include at least one number, one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one special character
do not include easily guessed codes/words such as your user code, registration email, first or last name, date of birth, or names of family members etc.
change your password frequently (at least every 90 days), and in any case whenever you have the slightest doubt that someone, fraudulently, has become aware of it, making sure to choose a password that is different from the last 10 entered (the Home Banking system stores them and does not allow you to reuse them)
choose a different password from those you normally use for other Internet services (e-mail, social networking, e-commerce, etc.)
You can decide to change your password and your Pin Code, at any time, independently, confidentially, and free of charge, within the Personal Area of your Home Banking/Mobile App.
More generally, to ensure that your credentials (User Code, Password and Pin Code) are more secure, remember to:not disseminate them through communication tools (social networks, e-mail, telephone, etc.)
not communicate them to friends, acquaintances, or any customer care workers
before you log into the Home Banking site, check and possibly disable the "auto-save" function
keep the codes carefully, so as to prevent others from learning about them, avoiding, as far as possible, writing them down on paper or on your devices (PCs, tablets, smartphones, etc.), making sure to store them, if necessary, in different places and in any case not accessible by people not authorized by you
protect the devices from which you access the Bank's portal, or in which you use its official Mobile App, with a locking method that involves entering a PIN, a sign, or biometric recognition (Face ID or fingerprint) for unlocking
If you lose your access codes or have them stolen, contact Banca Progetto Customer Care immediately at the toll-free number 800.970.663. SMS/E-mail Alerts
The Bank has set up an "SMS/E-mail Alert" security service. A text message or e-mail will alert you by sending you a message when the account is accessed or transactions are made.
Maximum session duration
To further protect your security, our Home Banking provides a maximum idle time of about 20 minutes, after which the system automatically terminates the connection.
Monitoring access and transactions made through home banking
The Home Banking service requires that access (or access attempts) and transactions made are constantly monitored, so that the Bank can intervene promptly in case abnormal situations or fraud attempts occur. In case of any anomalies or suspicious incidents during your payment sessions, contact our Customer Care immediately.
For added security, before accessing Home Banking services and making payments, always type the Bank's address directly into your browser's navigation bar and avoid reusing previous links.
Our Home Banking service is secure but we also need your cooperation to keep your information safe!

The Bank shall not be liable in cases of non-performance, even to a partial extent, of the Payment Services, if this is due to a fortuitous event or force majeure including strike action by the Bank's staff as well as in cases of failure to fulfill its obligations due to the application of national or EU regulations or laws or to fulfill obligations imposed on it by orders issued by the Public Authority.

The Bank assumes no liability for non-receipt or late receipt of instructions due to any transmission and computer problems - such as viruses, bugs, trojans, unavailability of mail service, hacker attacks, unavailability of telephone lines due to maintenance work or vandalism and terrorist attacks, etc. - or to strike action by telephone operators and e-mail and Internet service providers.
However, the exclusions of liability already provided for in the Agreement remain unaffected.
